How to Read the Writing On Lens?

Entry ni times I will try to share how to read the 'fads' on your DSLR lens. Moreover, the new first DSLR camera I knew this. Posted we look at what is meant by me.

If you can see the picture near the top, writing on the lens may be confusion at first torecognize the lens. Be positive attitude see how to read,

Nikon -> Brand

AF-S -> This means that the lens has a motor built autofokus in the lens (built in).

Nikkor -> Nikon Lens Type

DX -> This means that the lens can only be used for the body "crop factor".

18-200 mm -> This is the focal range (focal range)

1:3.5 - 5.6 -> This means the maximum aperture (largest aperture) while the focal 18mmis f/3.5. While the maximum aperture (largest aperture) while the focal 200mm is f/5.6.

G -> It means "gelded". It can be used in manual focus but the camera aperture isopened at a minimum.

ED -> It means "Extra-Low Dispersion". A type of lens that is able to control the"chromatic aberation" well.

AF / MF -> which means Auto Focus (AF) or Manual Focus (MF). You can select whichyou are interested.

VR -> This in turn means "Vibration Reduction" which means anti-concussion that couldreduce the vibration when taking photos. If the Canon, it is called "Image Stabilizer" or more simply, IS.

So at least you can even read the script at your next lens. You try ni try the picture below.

EF-S -> This means that the lens can only be used on the body "crop factor" alone.

So, last ni la problem no longer want to read your lens, right?

p / s: but if some still do not understand, just leave a comment ok?

  1. Nowadays, photographers are often characterized under the banner of "journalism", as they collect, edit and present news material. Photography can explain a whole story without any word so it's very useful for documentary movie,newspaper,magazine,a creative stories.
